    Cheeky Fishing is proud to be an independent fishing manufacturer.  For our customers, this means excellent service all the time.  A big part of this customer service promise is having a simple and speedy Warranty and Repair Policy. Details on our policies are below, and you can submit your form there. If you have any warranty questions, please email them to us at getcheeky@cheekyfishing.com.  

    Please note: Cheeky will not accept any reels for Warranty or Repair unless a claim has been submitted, and your reel has been registered, first.  Reels that are sent to Cheeky without completing a Claim Form first will be returned.

    Warranty Policy

    All Cheeky fly fishing reels except PreLoad reels carry a limited lifetime warranty to the original owner covering defects in materials or workmanship. Cheeky PreLoad reels carry a limited one year warranty to the original owner covering defects in materials or workmanship. Cheeky Fishing will repair or replace any Cheeky fly reels under this warranty (the "Warranty") at no cost for parts or labor.  Cheeky has sole discretion as to whether a reel is covered under Warranty. 

    Repair Policy

    If your fly fishing reel is not covered under our Warranty Policy, Cheeky Fishing will repair or replace it for a fee. Cheeky will provide you with a cost-estimate so that you can make an informed decision about repairing your fly reel.

    Warranty & Repair Shipping Policy

    Shipping cost, from your location to Cheeky Fishing, is the responsibility of the customer. We recommend you insure your package for its replaceable value and save your tracking number. Return shipping cost is covered by Cheeky Fishing.

    Please submit the Warranty & Repair Form below after reviewing the above policies to complete your claim:

     

    The Legal Stuff:

    This Warranty does not cover repair or replacement of any parts damaged by handling, operation, misuse, vandalism, modification, neglect, accident, improper maintenance, normal wear and tear, or any cause other than defects in materials or workmanship.  This Warranty is valid for the original registered owner only and is non-transferrable.  The original owner must complete Warranty registration within 90 days of purchase.  Failure to register within 90 days of purchase will relieve Cheeky Fishing of any obligations under this Warranty.

    Damaged parts may be replaced with the most current parts, which may include variations in color and design. Cheeky Fishing has sole discretion to determine whether its products are covered under this Warranty.

    Cheeky Fishing shall not be liable for special, indirect, or consequential damages, and this Warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, and the remedies of customers herein provided shall be your sole remedy for any defect in any Cheeky Fishing product, whether in warranty, negligence, contract, or otherwise.

    THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN PLACE OF ALL OTHER REMEDIES AND WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND SHALL EXCLUDE ANY LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR ANY OTHER LIABILITY.

    This Warranty contains the entire agreement between Cheeky Fishing and customer with respect to the subject matter hereof, and no amendment or waiver of any of the terms, provisions, or conditions of this Warranty shall be effective unless in writing and executed by both Cheeky Fishing and customer.

    This Warranty is to be governed and interpreted in accordance with the law of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without reference to principles of conflict of laws. Any judicial actions relating, directly and/or indirectly, to the enforcement of this Warranty shall only be brought in the Federal and/or Massachusetts State Courts located in Boston, Massachusetts, and to that end both Cheeky Fishing and customer hereby consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal and/or Massachusetts State Courts located in Massachusetts.

    Cheeky Fishing and customer warrant that this Warranty has been carefully read and fully understood and voluntarily accepted by Cheeky Fishing and customer.
