It's Schoolie Tournament week here at the Cheeky offices, and that means we have one thing on our minds; striped bass. Luckily for us, it's the same thing on the minds of high school seniors Thomas Barzilay Freund, Michael Kamsky, and Faulkner Wilson. The trio started working on a school video project last spring called "Between the Lines" to tell the story of striped bass conservation efforts. What started as a small spring semester project, ended up being a summer-long journey through Connecticut and Long Island in search of these awesome fish on the fly.
"Between The Lines" is 14 minutes long, but is worth every second. It's packed with killer aerial shots, awesome underwater footage, and big striped bass blowups, plus the opening sequence will send your blood pressure through the roof. The quality of this film and the fishing in it is downright impressive. These kids have a bright future ahead of them.
