This aptly named video comes from Matt Dunkinson on the River Test in England. It's short and sweet, and features some outstanding grayling footage. I'm actually heading to the famed River Test to try my luck this spring ... hopefully in a little warmer weather than what Matt had this week.
Under the fence
Some fish you just have to work for. After @jensenflyfishing fools a nice rainbow, the fish takes off downstream under a wire fence. Using the running water to his advantage, Jensen drops his fly rod (gulp) in the river and waits for it to float downstream while he gets in better position. Keep in mind, this is all happening while somehow keeping tight on a nice rainbow. How does it play out? Well, you'll just have to watch the video.
Oh, Florida. As the northeast shovels out of snow and much of the country braces for another few weeks of winter temps, it's nice to see that our Floridian friends are enjoying themselves on the beach. This photo comes from Carl Treyz of @trey_productions. Not sure if he caught any fish but he did catch an epic sunset this week with his CYDRO Spinning Reel.
