Fly fishing new waters is never easy, but it's even harder when you do it without the professional knowledge of a local guide. That's why this bone from Paul Sonnen on his all-black Limitless 425 Fly Reel is so impressive. He landed this DIY trophy on his very first day in Aitutaki, Bahamas. Luck or skill? Either way, a tip of the cap to you, Paul!
Our first video this week comes from the folks at The New Fly Fisher in Canada. It's about a minute long and absolutely packed with some amazing shots of pike chasing down flies. Sign me up!
Fresh, never frozen
The biting cold and frosty conditions of mid-winter are here to stay, but for the hardy few like photography Dakota George, that just means a few more layers of wool. Dakota took his new Limitless 425 out on the river this week and snapped this beautiful shot from the snow bank.
This one hurts
Yesterday we posted an awesome video of brown trout feasting on dragonflies in New Zealand. Unfortunately for Harry Moores, this video from NZ doesn't quite end the same way... ouch.
