    Thee hat for a fish person

    It is hard to find a hat with a dark under brim that is so comfortable. This is the one. Not black underneath but gray for those minimalists who don't like to carry sunglasses, waders, nets or packs. I'll be in the east Sierra next week, alpine lakes from 10k to 11K ft: cold water, plenty of sun, walking the banks in the wind. I'll test this thing out but I already know the hat will be fine. One hat, one fly: a subsurface soft hackle on a florocarbon leader. The wind is my friend; this hat is my new friend!
