Giving back, especially in a year as difficult as 2020, is crucial to our brand mission. This year, we decided to go big by matching every order pound for pound. For every order we receive from Thanksgiving to Christmas, we are donating one pound of food to our local food banks, and have already made our first delivery of over 300 pounds.
Now that Cheeky Fishing has two offices, we have two great partners: Berkshire Food Project in our home base of North Adams, Massachusetts and the Missoula Food Bank and Community Center in our Western hub in Montana.
Cheeky Fishing is proud to give back to the fishing and outdoor communities in a variety of ways. Whether it is annual donations to Trout Unlimited, Casting for Recovery and the Bonefish & Tarpon Trust, supporting Stripers Forever in its efforts to make striped bass a game fish, sponsorship of local catch and release fishing tournaments, or giving back 10% of every Cheeky Reel sale to support the Wildlife & Sport Fish Restoration Program, Cheeky is committed to giving back to its community.
Proud Partnerships with Trout Unlimited, Casting for Recovery, and Stripers Forever
Cheeky is proud to partner with Trout Unlimited as one of the organization's official Corporate Sponsors. As part of the partnership, Cheeky donates 15% of all proceeds from TU member purchases to TU's general conservation fund. Additionally, Cheeky provides all TU members with a discount on Cheeky products, and is one of the lead sponsors of the TU 5 Rivers College Program, a program designed to help mold the next generation of conservation-minded anglers. Cheeky is pleased to partner with Casting for Recovery and Trout Unlimited each year to raise money for both organizations through Cheeky March Madness: Road to the Final Fish. 100% of the event's proceeds go to benefit the non-profit causes. Cheeky's commitment to Casting for Recovery and Trout Unlimited is reinforced through its sponsorship of each organization's signature annual events, Cast One for Hope and the Trout Unlimited Annual Meetings.Cheeky Fishing is the proud title sponsor of Stripers Forever's Release a Breeder Program. The program is designed to promote the release of large “breeding size” stripers, which are mostly female fish producing eggs. By releasing a breeder, you can do your part to ensure the livelihood of the striped bass population for many years to come. Learn more about the club here.
